What is your superpower? I can do a spot-on impression of anyone–once.
What books have shaped you? Shambhala: Sacred Heart of the Warrior by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, and Kafka on the Shore by Harnki Murakami.
What is your favorite movie? Schindler’s List.
What is the ultimate party? I forget. I know I used to know. I’m pretty sure champagne is involved.
Your mother always told you…it’s okay to cry.
Who do you secretly want to be? An actress in London.
How has this work changed you? I’m smoother in some places, rougher in others.
What fuels you? Possibility.
What/who is your refuge/shelter? My husband. Anywhere he is, I’m safe.
What is your favorite word? Synchronicity.
What are the tools of your trade? Compassion, boundaries, flexibility, resilience, authenticity, creativity and positivity.
What are you scared of? Becoming homeless with my family.
What did you study? Religious studies.
What is one outrageous thing you’d love to have? A housekeeper.
What gives you courage? I’ve survived many things so I know there’s a good chance that I will get through difficult things.
How would your BFF describe you? He compares me to Meryl Streep, Phyllis Dillar, and Bette Midler. He says I’m luminous.
What do you love most about yourself? My humor and my ability to communicate.
What do you want the world to know about your work? There is no pattern or formula. Each family and individual needs unique and personalized care.
