What was the best trip ever? Visiting my uncle’s family in Vietnam.

Where is your happy place? Somewhere on a snowy mountain.
How has your work changed you? It has made me realistic, grateful, and inspired by human resilience.
What fuels you? A passion for working with those who have experienced trauma.
What’s the best advice you were given about your work? What you are doing matters.
What’s in your office? A feelings monster, mindfulness chimes, talk it out basketball hoop and dozens of modified board games.
What/who is your shelter? My mom.
What are the tools of your trade? Feelings Candy Land, patience, self-care, and hope.
What did you study? Art, creative writing, and social work.
What gives you courage? Hope for positive change.
What is the best gift you’ve been given? My engagement ring and drawings from clients.
How would your BFF describe you? Calm, caring, down to earth, artistic
What do you want the world to know about your work? I want the world to know that things don’t have to be the way they are. We can do better. We can make positive changes. We can learn it’s not about what is wrong with you. It’s about what has happened to you and it’s about your resilience in overcoming that.
